Anaheim’s Logan Shaw scored with 3:06 left in the third period to lift the visiting Ducks to a 4-3 victory over the Calgary Flames on Sunday.

Patrick Eaves, Jakob Silfverberg and Korbinian Holzer also scored for Anaheim, which moved two points ahead of the Oilers into sole possession of first place in the Pacific Division.

Ryan Kesler had three assists and Jonathan Bernier made 18 saves to improve to 10-0-2 in his past 12 games.

Kris Versteeg had two goals and Michael Frolik also scored for Calgary. T.J. Brodie and Mark Giordano each had two assists and Brian Elliott finished with 30 saves.

On the winner, Shaw swatted a rebound past Elliott for his third goal of the season — and second against the Flames — to help the Ducks bounce back from a 3-2 overtime loss at Edmonton the previous night.

The Flames and Ducks play again Tuesday at Anaheim, where Calgary has lost 24 straight regular-season games dating to Jan. 19, 2004.

Coyotes 2, Kings 1: Anthony Duclair scored the tie-breaking goal 3:09 into the second period, and Mike Smith made 34 saves as Arizona beat host Los Angeles, which will miss the playoffs for the second time in three seasons since winning the 2014 Stanley Cup. Alec Martinez was credited with a power-play goal and Jonathan Quick made 13 saves for the Kings, who needed to win their final five games and have Nashville lose each of its last three in regulation to reach the playoffs.

Blues 4, Predators 1: Alexander Steen scored the tie-breaking goal early in the second period and David Perron had a goal and two assists as host St. Louis improved to 7-0-2 in its past nine games. Despite its loss, Nashville clinched a Western Conference playoff berth with the Kings’ loss.

Bruins 3, Blackhawks 2: Backup goalie Anton Khudobin made 41 saves as visiting Boston extended its winning streak to five games and leapfrogged Toronto and Ottawa into second place in the Atlantic Division.

Capitals 3, Blue Jackets 2: T.J. Oshie, Andre Burakovsky and Matt Niskanen scored in a 8:53 span of the second period as visiting Washington extended its Metropolitan Division, Eastern Conference and overall NHL leads to five points. Columbus missed a chance to stay ahead of the second-place Penguins in the division and East.

Penguins 3, Hurricanes 2: Matt Murray stopped 33 shots as host Pittsburgh jumped ahead of the Blue Jackets in the Metropolitan.

Wild 5, Avalanche 2: Erik Haula had a goal and assist and Devan Dubnyk stopped 30 shots for host Minnesota, which remained seven points ahead of St. Louis for second place in the Central Division.

Lightning 6, Stars 3: Adam Erne scored twice and Ondrej Palat added a power-play goal and two assists as host Tampa Bay moved three points behind Ottawa in the race for the East’s second wild-card spot.

Rangers 4, Flyers 3: Oscar Lindberg and Chris Kreider scored 2:09 apart midway through the third period as New York ended an eight-game home losing streak.

Islanders 4, Sabres 2: Anders Lee scored two third-period goals a little more than five minutes apart for visiting New York.

Neuvirth update: Flyers goalie Michal Neuvirth has been released from a Philadelphia hospital and is resting at home, a day after collapsing in his crease during a game against New Jersey. Philadelphia general manager Ron Hextall said Sunday that tests on Neuvirth came back “normal.” Neuvirth has been dealing with an upper respiratory infection for more than a week.
