A comprehensive exterior redesign has been coupled with minor interior upgrades to complete the QX80’s latest refresh.

Infiniti Australia has ushered in the facelifted QX80 eight-seat upper-large SUV this week, with its price holding steady at $110,900 before on-road costs.

As previously reported, a comprehensive exterior redesign has been coupled with minor interior upgrades to complete the QX80 refresh.

Specifically, the front end features new-look LED headlights, LED daytime running lights and LED foglights as well as a tweaked grille, bonnet and bumper.

The side air vents and front quarter panels have been moved higher to elevate the character line, while the side steps are 20mm wider and the 22-inch alloy wheels feature a new 18-spoke design.

At the rear, the tailgate, LED tail-lights, chrome bar and bumper have had their looks updated.

Inside, lashings of woodgrain trim and leather-accented upholstery with redesigned stitching, piping and quilting adorn most surfaces, including the gear shifter, seats, doors and centre arm rest.

Additionally, the upper instrument panel, door panels, rear entertainment screens, and centre and rear-centre consoles have been tweaked.

As before, motivation is drawn from a 5.6-litre naturally aspirated V8 petrol engine that produces 298kW of power and 560Nm of torque, while braked towing capacity is 3500kg.

Standard equipment includes Bluetooth connectivity, satellite navigation and climate control, plus a trick rearview mirror that incorporates a live feed from the rear window-mounted camera.

Advanced driver-assist safety technologies extend to blind-spot monitoring, auto emergency braking, lane departure warning and park assist, among others.

Seven paint colour options are available, including the all-new ‘Champagne Quartz’, ‘Mineral Black’ and ‘Moonstone White’. Metallic hues attract a $1500 premium.
